Boustead Holdings Berhad (Boustead) was founded in 1828 and at inception, focused on trading, shipping and rubber planting businesses.

With Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT) acquiring a controlling equity interest and emerging as Boustead's major shareholder in 1990, the last 18 years has seen the Group achieving rapid growth and diversification in other fields and industries with growth potential. Boustead today is a diversified conglomerate with six core businesses comprising of plantation, property, finance & investment, trading, manufacturing & services and heavy industries. Currently, Boustead has a market capitalization of RM4 billion and more than 12,000 employees.
